Below is a list of Frequently Asked Questions for tiny Pai Gow Poker:

What is the 5% rake?
In Vegas casinos, Pai Gow Poker is played with a 5% house rake. This means that for every $1 you win, the house deducts 5 cents from your winnings. So if place a $10 bet and win, you only win $9.50. tiny Pai Gow Poker allows you to play with or without the house rake.

Is the Joker wild?
According to Vegas rules, the Joker is not completely wild. It may only be used to represent an Ace, part of a Straight, part of a Flush, and part of a Straight Flush. This means that if you have a Joker-8-8-3-2, you do not have three 8s. You would essentially have 8-8-A-3-2.

If I have a flush with the Joker, what card does the Joker represent?
If the Joker is part of your flush (a non-straight flush), the Joker should always represent the Ace of that suit. This is true even if you also have the Ace. This means that if you have Joker-As-7s-6s-5s and the Dealer has Ad-Kd-Jd-7d-6d, then you will have a higher flush than the dealer. You have an "Ace-Ace" flush and the dealer has an "Ace-King" flush.

Both I and the dealer had straights. The dealer had A-2-3-4-5 and I had 5-6-7-8-9. Why did I lose?
Most casinos play that A-2-3-4-5 is the second highest straight. This is contrary to the hand rankings of traditional Poker. Pai Gow Poker is played this way because the Ace is considered a very strong card.

Both I and the dealer had an A-K as our two card hand. Why did I lose?
This is part of the casino's advantage in Pai Gow Poker. If you and the dealer have the same hand, the dealer wins. This is part of the casino's advantage. The same is true if both you and the dealer have the same 5 card hand.
